DANCER

A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Erin Ginn began her ballet training at a young age with Karen Gibbons-Brown. She later attended Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts in Natick, Massachusetts where she received Honors for Outstanding Achievement in Ballet.  After graduating from WHS, she was a Junior Competitor at the 2002 International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi and began her professional dance career as an apprentice with the Cincinnati Ballet. 

 

Erin graduated with High Distinction from Indiana University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Ballet Performance and a Minor in Communication and Culture.

Erin has danced professionally with Continuum Contemporary Ballet, Rebecca Kelly Ballet, SENSEDANCE, Lydia Johnson Dance, Nomad Contemporary Ballet, Neglia Ballet, ViewPointe Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, and Columbia City Ballet. She has danced all over the United States including performances in San Juan, Puerto Rico as well as a multiple-city tour of Peru.

 

Her classical repertoire includes: Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara, and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker; Aurora and Canary Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Cygnet in Swan Lake, and Russian Girl in George Balanchine's Serenade.

 

Erin is also a Certified Pilates Instructor and teaches Pilates and Classical Ballet in New York City.
